Oatley Heritage & Historical  Society

The Oatley Heritage and Historical Society researches historical events and places within and around Oatley. We also look at those things that have been left by our forebears that add to the heritage of Oatley. Arguably, many of our monuments such as the Cenotaph and Oatley Clock may not be old enough to be considered “historical” but they certainly do have “heritage” characteristics and add to the general ambience of the Suburb.

We have 5 meetings a year to report the current research. In 2023 we begin to invite presenters from outside of the Society to talk to os about wider subjects.

The Society researches Oatley History and publishes its reports and other material on this site.
